How Users Can Delete Their Data
At Kanect, we respect your privacy and give you full control over your data.
If you wish to delete your account or any personal information stored within our platform, you can request data deletion at any time.
🔐 Automatic Data Deletion (From Dashboard)
If you have a Kanect account, you can delete your data directly:
- Login to your Kanect Dashboard
- Go to Profile / Account Settings
- Click on Delete Account
- Confirm your request
Once confirmed, the following data will be permanently deleted:
- Your account details
- vCards and all templates
- Uploaded media (images, logos, profile pictures)
- Analytics and click-tracking data
- Any saved contact information
This action is irreversible.
📩 Request Data Deletion Manually
If you cannot access your account or prefer manual deletion, you can email us:
Email: support@kanect.in
Subject: User Data Deletion Request
Message:
"Please delete my Kanect account and all associated data. My registered email is: ____. "
We will complete the deletion within 48–72 hours.
🌐 For Facebook / Google Data Deletion (Required for App Verification)
If you have logged in using Facebook/Google, you can request deletion by:
- Sending an email to support@kanect.in with:
- Your name
- Your registered Facebook/Google email
- A request to delete all synced data
- Our team will delete:
- Profile information received from Facebook/Google
- Any user-generated data
- Associated vCard information
🛡️ What Data We Delete
When a user requests deletion, Kanect removes:
- Personal profile data
- Contact details
- Social login data
- vCards and templates
- Uploaded images/files
- Activity logs & analytics
- Subscription details (excluding transaction records required legally)
📘 What Data We May Retain
(Some data must be kept for legal or financial compliance)
We may retain:
- Transaction/payment history
- Invoices
- Tax-required records
- Communication logs (up to 90 days)
This data is stored securely and never used for marketing.
